Welcome to the on-line peer-reviewed quarterly Central European Political Studies Review, a project of the International Institute of Political Science of the Faculty of Social Studies, Masaryk University, Brno. The CEPSR focuses on modern politics in Europe and aims to provide a platform for publishing scholarly texts in the broadly conceived field of political science, with a special emphasis on the areas of Comparative Politics, European Studies, and Foreign and Security Policy. Articles from other political-scientific disciplines are welcome as well, as are texts with interdisciplinary social-scientific reach.
The Review is currently included in the following databases: EBSCO Political Science Complete, EBSCO TOC Premier, PROQUEST Political Science Journals, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Central and Eastern European Online Library (CEEOL) and Index Copernicus International. We are members of the CrossRef/DOI citation system. The contents of the journal is archived by the National Library of the Czech Republic.

This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.


Vítejte na stránkách elektronického recenzovaného časopisu Středoevropské politické studie, jenž je projektem Mezinárodního politologického ústavu Fakulty sociálních studií, Masarykova univerzita, Brno. Středoevropské politické studie se tematicky orientují na moderní politiku v Evropě. Cílem časopisu je nabídnout odbornou platformu pro publikaci textů z široce pojaté oblasti politických věd, se zvláštním zřetelem k oblasti komparativní politologie, evropských studií a zahraniční a bezpečnostní politiky. Prostor v časopise ovšem mají i články z ostatních politickovědních podoborů, stejně jako texty s přesahy do dalších sociálněvědných disciplín.
Časopis je zařazen do Seznamu recenzovaných neimpaktovaných periodik Rady vlády pro výzkum, vývoj a inovace. V současné době je zařazen v databázích EBSCO Political Science Complete, EBSCO TOC Premier, PROQUEST Political Science Journals, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), CEEOL (Central and Eastern European Online Library) a Index Copernicus International. Jsme též součástí citačního a indexačního systému CrossRef/DOI. Obsah časopisu je pravidelně archivován Národní knihovnou ČR.
